What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a referral link to a store. If you buy something after clicking it, the store pays us a small share of the sale. You pay the same price either way.
DrinkingWaterFilter.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
We also belong to affiliate programs run by some filter makers and retailers.
How we keep scores independent
- No brand can pay for a review, a score, or a place in a ranking.
- Every filter is scored with the same published method, built on certification listings from NSF International, IAPMO R&T, and WQA.
- We point out a filter’s limits whether or not we earn anything from it.
Why we use affiliate links
Commissions pay for the research behind every page and keep the site free to read, with no sponsored posts.
